Happy Thanksgiving.

I had a different Thanksgiving this year. Mom invited us out to St. George to celebrate with Ron's brother Joe and his wife Susan. I was very grateful for the wonderful meal. After dinner we had these little fortune cookies and mine was perfect. (Try looking at things from another's point of view). Well I did just that and what I realized is that we are all so similiar when it comes to caring and loving for our family's. Ron was so good at taking care of his mom. Susan and Joe were so good at making a wonderful place for their grandkids to run and enjoy the day. The boys tooks full advantage of the kids room, located in a far away corner of the home:) Mom was so good at talking me up in regards to climbing. So although I missed cooking a dinner this year, it was wonderful to see thanksgiving through another family's eyes.

I am thankful for my kids, they are my all. I am thankful for each new day. I am thankful for my new job. I am thankful for my loving and caring family.

Damon "I am thankful I am a good artist, and so far a good life, and the food we eat, the roof over our heads, and the things we drink."

Carson "I am thankful for where we live, and things we drink, and the food us eat. I am thankful for the world, I am thankful for alive, and water."

Snow in Vegas

They managed to find it.

Carson is doing well lately in school we are really excited to see his improvements with writing sentences. It has been hard for him at times and he has broken down in tears a few times in class when he is frustrated with writing. I got some good advice from another mother about dyslexia and how to test for it. Most public schools don't look for it. His teacher has been great to work with despite his tears. He is such a wonderful boy and really has no other problems other than his speech and writing. I know that this is going to take time, and it sure does. Homework time with him can take hours to accomplish, but it is so worth the time spent when I get a report back from his teacher saying he is taking a part in writing his sentences with his peers and that he got 100% on his spelling test:)

Updates

Here is a photo of me on my last day of school. I changed my hair to brown now and I love it! I am walking with my class this Friday!

So the weather has finally come down from the upper 90's to the 70's and it feels so nice. Damon is up to his usual, pokemon cards, video games, and riding his bike with his friends.

Carson my darling, my sweet is working hard and I must say it is paying off. He is always running to catch up with his bro and sometimes he even passes him.

Brian, has been a wonderful support for me this last little while and I appreciate him so much.
He is building a home climbing wall for those colder days, and to train, but really you could climb out here like everyday of the year!
